Rainmakers Won Award to Host and Deliver the CDC National Forum on COVID-19 Vaccine
WASHINGTON D.C.—Rainmakers Strategic Solutions LLC (Rainmakers) won the award to host and deliver the National Forum on COVID-19 Vaccine from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in response to the public health emergency. In support of the Biden-Harris administration’s national strategy for COVID-19 Response and Pandemic Preparedness, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) organized a three-day, virtual national forum on the COVID-19 vaccine. The Rainmakers team, in coordination with the CDC managed approximately 109 speakers, greater than 10,000 attendees, and high ranking federal speakers.
The virtual event united national, state, tribal, local, and territorial representatives from public health, healthcare systems, national and community-based non-governmental organizations, education, private industry, unions, and faith-based organizations with a role in vaccinating communities across the nation.
The forum supported the Biden administration’s goals of mounting safe, effective, and comprehensive vaccine implementation strategies to protect those most at risk and advance health quality, particularly among communities that have been most disproportionately affected by COVID-19. This virtual forum was held on February 22 – 24, 2021.
