Key Duties/Responsibilities of the Recruiter

  • Responsible for meeting hiring goals by filling open positions with talented and qualified candidates, including managing the overall interview, selection, offer and closing process
  • Collaborate with Human Capital Manager and department managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs
  • Develop job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements
  • Source and recruit candidates by using databases, internal referrals, social media etc
  • Screen candidates’ resumes and job applications
  • Plan and manage virtual and on location job fairs
  • Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to qualify candidates for hiring manager interviews
  • Track/document candidate status in database and report to management team
  • Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations


  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field such as business administration
  • Without a Bachelor’s degree, years of on-the-job experience may suffice

Position Requirements and Relevant Knowledge

  • 3-5 years of successful recruiting experience
  • Must demonstrate an ability to work within a high pressure environment
  • Flexibility to work alternative schedules (e.g. evening instead of mornings)
  • Extensive experience in recruiting for employees with soft skills, (such as training, customer service, data analysis) and at all levels, up to senior management
  • Strong interviewing, organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills

Environment and Cognitive/Physical Demands

  • Teleworking, virtual work environment
  • Ability to read, keyboard, reason, communicate effectively and problem solve
  • Requires prolonged sitting and telephone use
  • Requires the use of office equipment such as computer terminals, telephones, copiers and printers
  • Infrequent lifting to 15 pounds
  • Infrequent stooping
  • Periodic travel
